I began my professional career as a photographer of equine events and then later as an award-winning wedding and portrait photographer. After much consideration, I made the decision to delve into painting subject matter I hold near and dear…animals, sea and landscapes on canvas with acrylic paint.
Through this medium, I find that I am able to express my emotional feelings for birds, horses, cats and other animals in landscapes and environmental scenes.
My goal is to stimulate the viewers’ appreciation of nature and promote the incredible value of animals to our world. Their beauty and the things they contribute are an essential part of a balanced planet.
My artistic process begins with a vision, then a pencil sketch, and finally painting in a background and then encompasses the deep concentration on exploring the subject, which I make certain I capture in full detail. Additionally, color harmonies and fine details are essential elements for a successful painting!
